Position Title: Production Intern
Reports To: Production Coordinator
Position Summary and Scope:
This internship position will assist in all aspects of vaccine production.
Principal Duties:
- Prepare and maintain Vero cells for vaccine production and research assays
- Assist lab personnel with electroporation and harvest of RNA particle (RP) vaccines
- Assist in formulation of RP vaccines
- Assist in the setup of QC and release assays
- Keep accurate track of all supplies and consumables used in the lab
- Maintain a clean and safe working lab environment
- Follow and complete production SOPs and research notebooks as needed
- Perform other duties as required
Qualifications:
Prior knowledge of aseptic technique and basic laboratory skills are desired, but not required. Candidates are expected to work both independently and in a group setting. Attention to detail and record-keeping skills are critical to job performance.

- Assist with dsRNA extractions from concentrated E. coli biomass
- Perform QC and release assays as needed
- Keep accurate track of all supplies and consumables used in the lab
- Maintain a clean and safe working lab environment
- Follow and complete production SOPs and research notebooks as needed
- Perform other duties as required
